보안등급 데이터를 해킹한 미국 연방인사국(OPM) 네트워크 침해하고 뉴스에 따라, 미국 백악관은 연방기관들에게 기본적인 보안 조치를 취할 것을 명령하였다. 이번 조치에는 심각한 취약점 즉시 패치, 안티 바이러스 제품 사용, 공격 인지를 위한 로그 확인, 2단계 인증 적용 및 관리자 계정 통제 강화 등의 절차를 요구하였다.
