플래쉬 플레이어, 사용하는 곳 줄어들어

모질라는 미디어 플레이어에 패치되지 않은 보안 문제로 인해 파이어폭스 브라우저에서는 플래쉬 플러그인을 차단하였다. 구글은 차기 안정적인 크롬 브라우저를 발표할 때는 플래쉬 엘리먼트를 "지능적으로 중단"할 것이라고 밝혔다. 우분투 PC를 만드는 시스템 76은 자사 제품에 더이상 플래쉬를 설치하지 않을 예정이며, 플래쉬를 위험하고 불필요한 것이라고 밝혔다. 어도비는 7월 14일(화) 두개의 취약점을 패치한 플래쉬 업데이트 버전을 발표하였다.
