해상 통신 플랫폼 취약점

인터넷에 접근하기 위해 선박에서 사용되는 플랫폼의 취약점으로 인해 데이터를 노출할 수 있으며 잠재적으로 선박의 다른 중요 시스템에 대한 접근을 허용하기 위해 악용될 수 있다. AmosConnect 선상 플랫폼의 취약성을 발견한 연구원들은 이 시스템이 "10~15 년된 소프트웨어를 사용하고 있으며 고립된 방식으로 구현되어 있다는 의미이다"라고 밝혔다. 

CERT의 2017년 7월 취약점 노트는 "AmosConnect 8은 단종된 것으로 간주되어 더 이상 지원되지 않는다."고 밝혔다.
