미국 연방검찰은 2014년 JP모건 체이스 시스템을 해킹하여 8천3백만개의 계좌정보가 유출된 사고와 연루된 3명을 기소하였다. 이 침해사고는 "마구잡이식 사이버범죄 기업"의 일부로 보고 있다. 이 기업은 수십개의 나라에 수백명의 직원과 공모자를 보유하고 있다. 용의자 2명은 2015년 7월에 이스라엘에서 구속되었으며, 나머지 한명은 아직 오리무중이다.
