On April 1, 2014, Kaspersky Lab releases patch E for Kaspersky PURE 3.0.

Patch E is automatically installed once antivirus databases of Kaspersky PURE 3.0 version 13.0.2.558 are updated.

Patch E eliminates the following problems:

• The vulnerability in the mechanism of subsystems interaction in the product.
• Issue with Password Manager synchronization.
• Some issues with Parental Control in the Google Chrome web browser.
• Subscription status update issue.
• Issues with Virtual Keyboard in the Internet Explorer web browser under Windows 7.
• Issue with Web Anti-Virus when opening https://www.google.com in the Google Chrome web browser.

To install patch E, do the following:

1. Run update of Kaspersky PURE 3.0.
2. Once the databases are successfully updated, restart the computer.
3. Once the system restarts, open Kaspersky PURE 3.0.
4. In the bottom left corner of the window, click the Support link.
5. If Patch E was successfully installed, you will see the letter e in the Application version line.
